Takiyah Miller
I was born and raised in Western Washington. My mother is a retired educator in the Seattle Public School system. My father, a retired Director/Producer in the media industry. Seattle has always been near and dear to my heart. Connecting with my people and incorporating my skills to help assist and empower is a core value for me. I am a single mother of an incredible teenage girl who is currently in her last year of middle school. My desire is to raise her with an emphasis and desire to lead by example. To show my daughter what she can achieve as a woman of color with unlimited strength and resources while supporting a community mindset and directive that obstacles may come but perseverance and determination can bring optimal results. I serve diverse communities in whatever capacities I’m able and needed. Whether it involves feeding families in my local community or providing support and services to help others develop a strong foundation to obtain work and business opportunities, I’m determined to see everyone win!
